The Tragic Truth Have you ever had a dayThe Tragic Truth by ~orpheus-blue
where it's raining in your head?
Where the voices keep whispering,
"Soon you'll be dead."
And you you know that you're doomed,
and you know that you're dying,
and you're left in the dark
all alone and crying
for all the people lost
that could have done better,
for the faces forgotten
in stormy weather,
for all the battles fought
by the people who care
when you were left behind
and should have been there.
But what does it matter
in a world such as this,
where nothing ever changes
but expanding greediness,
where matters of the heart
no longer hold sway
and love is a weakness
that is dying away.
